True country charm is one way to describe the Hillside Cottage. Located less than a ½ mile from FoxFire Cabins, this charming cottage has a lot to offer. Situated on about 5 acres by itself, it offers privacy as well as nice views from its perch on the side of the hill. Down below the Hillside Cottage the Sabinal River runs and wildlife roams. The large deck is a great place to both start your day with a cup of coffee, or wind down in the evening as you watch the sun fall behind the hills.

The Hillside Cottage itself is very well appointed and the layout of Hillside Cottage offers plenty of room and privacy. It is has only 2 actual bedrooms, but with its 4 bathrooms and extra sleeping in living and great rooms it will sleep up to 10 people comfortably. The master bedroom is very private with a queen bed, fireplace, private porch, and a nice master bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a full bed along with its own bathroom. Alongside the kitchen is a living/sitting room with a sleeper sofa and a bathroom. And the great room has 3 sleeper sofas, wood burning stove, bathroom and great views from the many windows.

The Hillside Cottage does not allow pets. Other amenities include satellite HDTV and Blue Ray DVD player, , telephone, washer/dryer, fireplaces and full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.

NOTE: To access the Hillside Cottage you must cross the Sabinal River via a concrete streambed crossing. This crossing can become impassable during times of flash flooding.
